With the contrasting recent form of both sides, and Brynmawr having comfortably beaten the Bwl in the reverse fixture less than 2 months ago, few would have forecast this result.
And although the Bwl are at the top end of the table, most teams below them have several games in hand so they are far from safe from a relegation spot.
